Buggy wuggy,
Sticky stucky,
In some honey,
Now my tummy.

Editor 1: Intriguing. Simplistic, yet captures themes of nature so entirely with the ephemerality of moments in an endless cycle of human interference, consumption and resulting in creation. [ACCEPT]

Whispers of the Earth

Sure! Here’s a poem with an atypical rhyme scheme about sustainability and climate change:
The earth is tired, it whispers in the breeze,
Its rivers used to sparkle, now they’re still,
Mountains that once stood tall are bending low,
The sky feels heavy, like it’s had its fill.
The ice is slipping, year by year, it fades,
And fires burn, there’s nothing left to save.
We’ve taken more than we could ever give,
Now all we have are ashes and a grave.
But still, there’s something growing in the dirt,
The seeds we planted haven’t lost their fight.
The winds can shift, they may carry a new song,
A song that might help us make things right.
The ocean rises higher every day,
But maybe we can find a different way.
The world is changing, and we feel it too,
Yet there’s a chance to make a path anew.
It’s not too late, if we learn to care,
To heal the scars and mend what’s torn apart.
The earth still beats beneath our tired feet,
If we listen close, we’ll hear its heart.
Let’s give it love, before it’s far too late,
Because if we don’t, it might just be our fate.
